 Donna Rose began to specialize in decorative painting after a successful career of middle management in the corporate world. Knowing that decorative painting was her dream, she studied with many internationally known artists. These ranged from Jackie Shaw on the East coast to Michele Walton and David Jansen on the West Coast including the Heartland and South. She continued her studies with David after his move from California to Pennsylvania
This extensive study paid off when In 1996 Donna Rose was awarded her Certified Decorative Artist (CDA) status from the National Society of Tole & Decorative Painters
One the things often heard about Donna Rose is that she is a patient teacher and is generous in sharing her knowledge, never holding back any “tricks of the trade” or that “secret ingredient”. Donna Rose always says, “I want my students to find the same delight in painting and creating beauty that I do.”
Donna Rose has the full support of her husband in her painting endeavors. This allows her to pursue the second love of her life, Decorative Painting at her own studio, “Into the Woods”, 20 Seminary in Hopewell, NJ.
